October 25, 2018 National Tree Day

REELEC, being ISO 14001 / Version 2015 certified, remains aware that the concept of ecological green space is to be compared to the differentiated management of green spaces, but it also goes beyond by relying on the three pillars of sustainable development (environmental, economic, social) and on a set of criteria and fields of action; in particular the preservation and planting of trees, not only for their aesthetic appearance, but also for ecological, economic and social reasons.

This is the reason why REELEC celebrates National Tree Day on October 25 of each year.

In this context, REELEC has been active this year, marking this day with the purchase of plants, made available to central management as part of an operation called "Green offices». Each office must have at least two plants to care for.

Employees have welcomed this initiative and some have volunteered to handle it. The General Management intends to repeat this operation in 2019 and to immortalize it with a symbolic gesture of encouragement, which will be awarded to the person who has taken care of the plants entrusted to them.
