REELEC participates in the "Algeria-EU Business Forum"
The Algeria-EU Business Forum on Energy organized by the Ministry of Energy and Mines, held on October 11 and 12, 2022 in Algiers, whose opening ceremony was chaired by the Prime Minister, Mr. Aïmene BENABDERRAHMANE, followed by a visit to the exhibition organized on the sidelines of the event, bringing together Algerian companies active in the Energy sector, such as SONATRACH, SONELGAZ, SHAEMS, REELEC, ENIE as well as the ALNAFT and APRUE agencies.
The REELEC Stand in collaboration with ENIE, was visited by the Prime Minister, accompanied by a high-level staff, the European Commissioner for Energy, Mr Kadri Simson, Mr Mohamed ARKAB, Minister of Energy and Mines, the Ministers of the Environment, Trade, Public Works, the President of the CNESE, in addition to parliamentarians, representatives of the embassies of EU countries, accredited in Algeria and senior state officials.
After having received explanations on the activity of Holding ELEC EL DJAZAIR, particularly the component relating to the electrical industry, in particular the studies and installation of electrical equipment as well as the development of photovoltaics, the Prime Minister gave guidelines concerning the development of photovoltaic activity and the creation of small electric power stations which function in photovoltaic in order to meet the needs of isolated areas, in particular the rural population in the South.
