REELEC'S PINK OCTOBER WEEK THE COMPANY MOBILIZES AGAINST BREAST CANCER
REELEC reiterates its commitment to its female staff on the occasion of World Breast Cancer Awareness and Information Month, by organizing the day of October 28, 2021, dedicated to the fight and prevention against breast cancer.
Indeed, during her opening speech, Mrs. MEKAKDA, Director of Human Resources of Reelec, thanked the medical advisors, for having accepted the animation, voluntarily, of this day of awareness and information on breast cancer and also for the efforts made to explain to the women present, the interest of early detection which is one of the most effective weapons in the fight against this nasty disease.
The company's medical advisor, Doctor BOUBEKEUR and Doctor AYACHE, jointly wanted to convey a message of hope and finally break the taboos concerning screening to fight against this disease and against other scourges and this, by a detailed presentation by dialoguing directly with the female staff through questions and answers and direct contacts in a very friendly setting.
Also, it should be noted that in collaboration with the social partner, a screening examination by mammography and ultrasound performed on female staff aged 35 and over, at an imaging center, was organized during the days of 24 to 28 October 2021.
