REELEC at the 54th FIA ( Algiers International Fair)
EPE REELEC Spa took part, like the companies affiliated to the ELEC EL DJAZAIR portfolio, in the 54th edition of the FIA (Algiers International Fair), which was held from 20 to 25 June 2023 at the Safex Exhibition Centre, under the patronage of the President of the Republic, Mr Abdelmadjid TEBBOUNE, This major economic event brought together more than 600 national and foreign companies, made up of professionals from several countries in Europe, America, Asia and Africa, with Italy as guest of honour.
The event was attended by a wide range of business sectors, including the military, mining, agri-food, electricity, electronics and chemical industries, as well as major groups that are leaders in the national economy, and SMEs, SMIs and start-ups of all kinds. In addition to participating in the FIA 2023, REELEC's CEO and his management team visited several stands belonging to major industrial groups, including the SONAREM group, which operates in the mining sector, to find out about the sector's development plans with a view to seizing any opportunities that arose.
With a view to the signing of a framework agreement between MANAL Holding (Mines) and ELEC EL DJAZAIR, fruitful discussions took place between REELEC and SONAREM Group managers, with the aim of developing the sector, particularly in terms of reducing fossil fuel electricity consumption by supplying clean energy (solar), optimising energy efficiency and automating processes (installing digital management systems such as CCN and others)
